What it is: an app for learning and recognizing colors.

What you do with it: There are two main options in this app: 'Read' (to learn the colors) and 'Play' (to practice them). The 'read' option features a minibook with 11 'pages' with colors, with 3 objects on each page. You touch the object and its name and color will be read out. The 'play' section has 3 minigames/activities: sorting objects by their color, mixing 2 colors in a 'color mixer' and pointing to the correct colors.

What we liked: very nice graphics, good quality audio, easy operation, overall quality of this app, good educational value.

What we didn't like: the minibook has no option to read all of the 'pages' automatically, without the need to touch an object on the page every time. In the 'play' section every time an activity is started, the configuration 'parent only' menu pops up (this should be configured somewhere else) and the audio instructions require an extra press of a button. The numerical scoring system in both minigames is not useful for smaller kids. We did not quite understand the purpose of the 'colors code' sheet in the mixing activity.
