Maths Plus Minus - Arithmetic

What it is: an app for practicing substraction and addition.

What you do with it: choose the settings appropriate to your child's age (number range, inclusion of negative answers, timed or untimed mode) then solve a set of equations (7+2=? or 7+? = 9, type, depending on the mode) by popping the bubble with the correct answer.

What we liked: interesting approach to making math practice more interesting (combining learning with a simple game), simple rewards system (collecting acorns).

What we didn't like: limited educational value (just point to the correct answer, no clues or aids), the 'game' itself is not very engaging (kids may get bored quickly), navigation is not too intuitive.
