What we liked: the story, professional audio narration, sounds and sound backgrounds, visual clues features, picture/word associations, excellent reading options (tap to hear single words, tap and press to repeat a page).

What we didn't like: limited number of 'interactive' elements. Use of 'system' menus/popups for as certain navigation actions.

What it is: interactive adaptation of Dr Seuss's classic.

What you do with it: three modes: listen to narrated story (and turn pages manually), read as a 'traditional' book with additional interactive elements and 'auto play' (automatic reading and turning the pages). Touch the pictures and the names of the objects or the details will be displayed and read out.

What we liked: the story, reading options (words are highlighted when read, you can easily repeat a word or a paragraph), professional audio narration, sound effects and sound backgrounds, 'touchable' picture/word associations, easy operation, no distracting elements.

What we didn't like: relatively high price, limited number of animations and interactions, use of 'system' menu for some navigation actions, links to Facebook and Twitter.

Collect stars and complete Learning Activities (e.g. word matching, spelling).

What we liked: the story. Original artwork. Professional narration. Sounds and sound backgrounds. Excellent reading options (words are highlighted when read by the narrator, you can tap on a single word to hear it read aloud, picture-word associations). Extra educational activities embedded in the original story. Ease of use. No ads or distracting features.

What we didn't like: the Learning Activities may get repetitive after some time.
