What it is: an app teaching the names of 16 farm animals.

What you do with it: 5 modes of play: Autoplay (for kids 1-3): view the slideshow with animal pictures and listen to animals' names, at the final scene touch the animals to hear the sounds they make; Reading Words (kids 2-4): try to read the word, touch the word to hear it read out loud; Easy Spelling and Spelling (kids 3 and up): spell the names by sliding the letters into correct place; Reading sentences (kids 4 years and up): try reading simple sentences like 'The cock asks the chick if the feather is his'

What we liked: beautiful artwork, easy operation, instructions for parents, 6 language versions (both text and narration).

What we didn't like: limited content (only 16 animals, the illustrations are beautiful but we wish there were at least a few animations or interactions). Limited educational value, both in terms of the range of available material (there are only 16 words to work with) and the learning experience itself (especially for younger kids).
