My Very Hungry Caterpillar AR

What it is and what you do with it: interactive play app.

Thanks to Augmented Reality technology you can now play with the Very Hungry Caterpillar on the floor of your room of in your garden.

Feed Caterpillar with apples, plums or pears. Give it toys to play: foam bubbles, a wind-up ladybug, a ball and a set of paints. You can even 'paint' on the floor and see Caterpillar follow every brush stroke... and don't worry as soon as you turn off the app the smudges will go away ;)

If you are patient, after some time your caterpillar will turn into a beautiful butterfly!

What we liked: the concept. Cool implementation of AR technology in an app aimed at kids. Fun visuals. Fun interactions (our favorite: Caterpillar chasing the ball). Easy operation: either tap on the screen or zoom in on an object you want interact with.

What we didn't like: we wish there were more features. We recommend parental assistance for best results ('steady hands' and patience).
