ABC Write and Paint

What it is:an app for learning numbers and letters of the alphabet.

What you do with it: type a number, word or a sentence using the on-screen keyboard and then color the letters using the painting tools. When you touch a single letter or a number you will hear its name.

What we liked:the concept (learning letters or numbers while having fun with another type of activity). The app is very easy to use (just touch for in-line painting or double tap to fill an area).

What we didn't like: only letters are read out (we understand the technical reasons for this though). Longer sentences or words are resized automatically, resulting in small, difficult to color letters. The music is annoying (fortunately it can be turned off). The words/paintings can only be saved to the photo album on the device (there is no way to edit them).
