Overall Score: 97/100

Best for: Education, Attention & concentration, Early math, Thinking & problem solving

What it is/what you do with it: a set of puzzles for addition/division/multiplication and early algebra concepts practice.

Solve the puzzles (you have to combine and match given cards in a certain way) to isolate the 'magic box'.

To get the maximum score you have to optimize the way you match the cards and keep the number of moves to minimum.

The cards start with abstract objects (e.g. monsters) then progress to introduce math symbols and variables.

What we liked: the concept. Excellent combination of puzzle game and math practice. 200 puzzles with progressive difficulty. Great visuals and sound backgrounds. Intro/tutorial with hints and assistance. The option to undo the move and replay each level. Humor and fun factor. Multiple user profiles.

What we didn't like: we wish there were some hints how to optimize your moves.

Overall Score: 94/100

version reviewed: 1.0.2

reviewed:

Best for: Education, Early math, Thinking & problem solving

What it is and what you do with it: set of activities helping kids learn multiplication tables in a fun way.

Contains: - series of short stories featuring funny characters (representing numbers 1-10); the characters will then 'perform' some tricks to calculate given multiplication, e.g. for 2x3 you have Mouse 2Squeeks who panics and pushes 3Kenstein who falls backwards, twists his bone which turns into a '6' - game/practice (training without time limit and timed) where you can test your multiplication tables skills

What we liked: the concept: introducing 'boring' math concepts in original way through stories, quizzes and humor. Cool 'number' characters, including The Little Witch (the guide). Humor and fun factor. Professional narration. Multiple user accounts with progress tracking and rewards system. Extra hints and tips.

What we didn't like: only linear progress mode (there is no way to skip 'easier' numbers).
