What it is and what you do with it: 4 games for early math practice with dinos from the popular TV series.

Games include: puzzles, comparisons/sorting, quantities/scales and measurements/simple addition.

Bonus: a sticker scene creator.

What we liked: the concept. Good set of engaging early-math related activities. Illustrations based on the the TV series. Narration and spoken instructions. Ease of use. No distracting elements.

What we didn't like: we wish there was more variety in the activities (they can quickly get repetitive).

What it is: a set of 25 dinosaur puzzles (about 6 pieces each) with extra educational content.

What you do with it: There are are 3 levels of difficulty: easy (just slide the pieces in place), medium (you may need to rotate the pieces to make them fit, the angle of rotation is in 90 degree increments and the hard level where precise angle adjustment is needed. When you complete a puzzle , a short page with some basic facts about the dinosaur will be displayed. You also earn a sticker which can be placed on the sticker page.

What we liked: easy navigation, nice illustrations, the inclusion of the extra educational content, the sticker reward system.

What we didn't like: there are no voice instructions, the names of the dinosaurs and the dino facts could be read out loud (e.g. when you complete the puzzle). The 'dino facts' are rather basic (and could contain more kid-friendly information, like the eating habits instead of presenting some numerical data). The medium and hard levels require some practice (the method of rotating the pieces is not intuitive). You can't navigate from the 'dino fact' pages to the puzzles.

What it is: a 'wooden' puzzle game with a dinosaurs theme.

What you do with it: Slide pieces in place to complete the puzzles (from 4 to more than 10 pieces each). 36 puzzles, 3 levels of difficulty.

What we liked: the concept, easy operation, overal 'feel' of the game.

What we didn't like: background sounds can't be turned off, addition of the letters in the 2nd and 3rd star levels does not make very much sense. Full set of 36 puzzles only available as in-app purchase, link for 'more apps' easily accessible on the main screen.

The 'free' wersion has only 3 puzzles and the in-app purchase option is too easily accessible to your child!"
