What it is/what you do with it: 4 activities to help kids understand the basics of numbers and basic math operations:

Sandbox - stack, slice, combine or sort number characters (called Nooms) and explore basic math concepts (number sense, combining two numbers to get a higher number etc)

Ladder - combine various number characters to obtain a given number

Puzzle - create puzzle pieces by combining or splitting equivalent Nooms

Run - arcade game that requires quick mental calculations

What we liked: the concept. Excellent set of engaging activities introducing kids to numbers and basic math operations. Options and extras (reward system with coins, multiple user accounts and more). Lively, colorful visuals. Fun Noom characters. Ease of use. Humor and fun factor. No ads or other distracting features.

What we didn't like: no narration or spoken instructions.

What it is and what you do with it: interactive version of the popular word game.

Guess the word (you can have up to 7 wrong letters) to prevent your avatar from the disastrous outcome!

Topics include: Arts & Literature, Compound Words, Just for Fun, Science, Social Studies, Synonyms and More (ages 9-11) plus Arts & Literature and Geography for ages 12+.

What we liked: the concept. Good variety of topics. Great set of features (various difficulty levels, single and multiplayer play mode, choice of avatars etc.). Extra educational content (notes/facts with featured words). Humor and fun factor.

What we didn't like: feature request: option to add your own words/phrases.
