Morning Routine

What it is: an app helping kids develop their morning routines.

What you do with it: create the routine using pre-defined (e.g. 'brush teeth', 'breakfest') or user-defined tasks. All tasks can be edited (name, use of timer, audio note). Go through the routine every day and check off completed tasks. After all the tasks are finished, the user is awarded with a star (displayed in the calendar).

What we liked: the concept, simplicity, ease of use, the options for adding custom tasks and for tracking multiple accounts (children), the option to illustrate the tasks with custom images (photos from the camera or from the photo album on the device). What we didn't like: no option to use a real clock (as an alternative to the timer). Some features require workarounds (e.g. you can't change the illustrations for the built-in tasks, you must add such task again as the custom task, where you can use any picture. The price point is a bit high for the number of options the app offers.

Bottom line: a simple but fun to use app for helping with morning chores.
