What it is: a coloring app with 175 'monsters' to color.

What you do with it: choose the monster (from categories like 'swimmers', 'sleepers', 'creatures', 'flyers' etc., use the coloring tools (brushes or 'touch and fill') and stickers to complete the picture. Save the picture to the gallery (with option to share).

What we liked: overall 'look and feel' of the app, number and quality of coloring pages provided (these monsters are very cute, not scary!), highly configurable painting tools (brush shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, transparency), the zoom option for painting small details, the child lock option for locking out promotional messages and links to other apps, instructions for parents.

What we didn't like: no undo option. Introduction of some sort of 'easy' mode (with easier access to the painting tools and simplified color palette plus audio instructions) would make this app more suitable for younger children. Some options may require parent's help.

Bottom line: a very well put together coloring app, well worth the price.
